Outfit of a Wedding Guest

A couple of weekends ago, I attended a family wedding and had an absolutely super time. The couple looked amazing and a splendid day was had by all. I thought I'd do a very quick post to share with you what I wore.

Dress: French Connection

Shoes: Office - (dug out from the back of my wardrobe) Heel = insanely high, nevertheless I did a heck of a lot of dancing in them...

Jewellery: Not wanting to take away from the detailing of the dress, I chose not to wear a necklace or any bracelets. I did however, stick with my silver rings (I feel naked without them!)

Outfit of the Day

If I ever can't decide what to wear, I always go for a little black dress. It might not be the most imaginative, but it is quick and I know I can accessorise it in so many different ways. Plus, a black dress never goes out of fashion. (A massive bonus for me as I own so many!)

• Ghost Perfume £24.80

There is nothing like a spritz of a scent that you discovered many moons ago. Mine happens to be Ghost and I always pick it out on a day when I want to feel a little bit special. It's such a feminine scent combining jasmine with rose petals and soft vanilla with earthy sandalwood. It is perfect for the daytime, especially at this time of year as it is so light and fresh.

The sun was shining in London today, so out came a dress.

Make-up

Although I used fairly dark eyeshadow colours in my crease, the overall makeup doesn't loose all it's  playfulness, probably because I used my go-to lipstick shade - Liliac! Here's what I used to create the look:

• Mascara: MAC Falsh Lashes
  
• Lips: Barry M Lip Paint 129 / Lime Crime Airbourne Unicorn (I changed throughout the day)
